PALAWAN EXTENSION TOUR TRIP OVERVIEW

Named by numerous world renoun travel organizations for many consecutive years as one of the world's top island to visit, Palawan is fondly called the Phillipines' Last Frontier. This 6-Day 5-Night Extension Tour will take you to numerous scenic locations that made this island world famous. After a short 1-hour flight from Manila, we arrive at the capital city of Puerto Princesa. Its iconic spot is the 8.2 kilometer Puerto Princesa Underground River, the world's longest navigatable underground river which has been designated as UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE in 1999 and most recently as one of the "NEW 7 WONDERS of NATURE ". Boat paddles takes visitors into deep caverns under rugged limestone and marble cliffs, with breath-taking stalagmite and stalagtite formations carved by nature millions of years ago and inhabited by thousands of bats and swiftlets.

A visit to Palawan would not be complete without a tour of the world famous and the Philippines' most famous beach, El Nido. Situated in the mainland's northernmost part, the town is a marine protected area with a diverse ecosytem of over 100 endemic bird species, 800 fish species and home of the "dugong" or seacow, the world's rarest marine mammal. Take a boat ride and go island hopping , visiting numerous lagoons and hidden beaches. Have a sumpteous lunch consisting of fresh catch-of-the-day in one of the islands. In the afternoon, photograph the spectacular El Nido sunset. At the end of they day, we will have a grilled seafood and barbeque dinner by the beach and maybe join a beach party before we call it a day.
